NPFL: We have a squad that can win the title, Rangers coach boasts

The Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL continues this weekend with nine matches to be played over Saturday and Sunday and this includes Rangers International hosting Abia Warriors in Awka on Saturday by 4 pm. 

The coach of the team, Abdul Maikaba has expressed optimism that Rangers International have what it takes to challenge for the title as they kick off their season with the Oriental derby on Sunday in the abridged league.  

Speaking on Wednesday at the club's headquarters during a media parley, Maikaba hinged his optimism on the squad depth as well as the quality of the players in the team. 

He stated: " We have a massive squad with an abundance of talents to defend the colors of the club in the abridged league." 

" The team has what it takes to achieve his prime target of finishing amongst the top three in our group, from there we would challenge for the trophy and continental ticket", Maikaba said.  

In the same vein, the secretary of the club, Barrister Ferdinand Ugwuarua, emphasized that the management is working in tandem with the technical crew to ensure that the team achieves the set objectives.
