NPFL: Shooting Stars battle Rangers as Rivers United plans to revoke Bendel Insurance cover

Shooting Stars has revealed plans for adequate security measures and crowd control ahead of the matchday 36 fixture against Rangers.
The Oluyole Warriors chief, Babatunde Olaniyan Akoro, said the club would leave no stone unturned to ensure a hitch-free hosting.
Akoro, however, called on the teeming fans and supporters of the club to troop out en masse to cheer the team to victory.
“We have been on top of the situation since the start of the season. If you notice, there has never been any issue as far as a breach of security and crowd trouble in our matches, so for this game, we will do more because of the team (Rangers) involved,” he stated to Daily Post.
“We want to continue with this, hence, this game is a perfect match to show how well-organized and disciplined we are here in Ibadan.
“We know the importance of their presence in large numbers and we are looking forward to more of that against Rangers on Wednesday.”
The Oluyole Warriors will square up with Rangers at the Lekan Salami Stadium on Wednesday.

The Port Harcourt-based club will be in action against Bendel Insurance at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium on Wednesday.
