NPFL: Rangers to play CAF Champions League matches in Uyo as 3SC keeper eyes Saudi move

Nigerian champions Rangers will play their home games in the CAF Champions League at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.

The Flying Antelopes adopted the ground after failing to get CAF’s approval for their home venue, Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu.

Rangers will face Union Sportive Zilimadjou of Comoros in the first preliminary round tie of the competition.

Meanwhile, Remo Stars got approval to host their home games in Ikenne.

The Sky Blue Stars will face AS FAR of Morocco in the first preliminary round.

The first and second legs of the games will be played next month.

And Okiemute Odah could leave Shooting Stars before the start of the 2024/25 season of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

According to sources, Odah has offers from Saudi Arabian clubs.
