NPFL: Plateau United coach describes the loss to Insurance as unfortunate
Plateau United technical adviser, Mbwas Mangut says that their Nigeria Premier Football League,(NPFL) matchday 15 loss to Bendel Insurance was unfortunate.
The Peace Boys were defeated 2-1 by Bendel Insurance at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City on Saturday.
Uche Collins and Kayode Oke were on target for Bendel Insurance, while Doyin Olawale scored for Plateau United.
Mbwas said his team will continue to fight for better results in subsequent games.
“We approach every game with the mindset to win and we will continue to fight for better results next time,” Mbwas stated in a post-match interview.
Plateau United occupy 18th position on the NPFL table with 15 points.
Meanwhile, El-Kanemi Warriors technical adviser Aliyu Zubairu has jetted out for two-week technical attachment training in Bulgaria.
Zubairu is expected to engage in the theory and practical trends of modern football.
The young tactician will undergo the training programme with Bulgarian side FC Montana.
Zubairu guided El-Kanemi Warriors to win the 2024 Federation Cup trophy.
Zubairu also recently won the WAFU-B U-20 Championship in Lome, Togo.
The Flying Eagles also qualified for the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
