NPFL: Niger Tornadoes vows to beat Plateau United on Sunday
Niger Tornadoes says the team is focused on the matchday three fixture against Plateau United.
The Ikon Allah Boys are understood to have put their goalless home draw with Nasarawa United behind them.
Niger Tornadoes will lock horns with Plateau United at the New Jos Stadium on Sunday.
Manjin Muhammed’s side have recorded four points from their two opening fixtures of the season.
“Maximum focus on Sunday’s match, final preparation done and dusted.” Niger Tornadoes wrote on X.
Niger Tornadoes held Plateau United to a goalless draw in the same fixture last season.
Meanwhile, Chijioke Mbaoma has sealed a move to the Libyan side, Al-Ittihad.
Mbaoma left Nigeria Premier Football League side, Heartland days after joining the club.
He signed a two-year contract with Al-Ittihad.
Mbaoma was the NPFL top scorer with 17 goals last season.
He also won the Player of the Season award.
The 21-year-old is expected to paint the Libyan League with goals following his stellar campaign for Enyimba.
