NPFL: Musa continues to shine as Remo Stars reclaim top spot
Former Super Eagles forward Ahmed Musa continued his impressive form for Kano Pillars, claiming an assist in the Sai Masu Gida’s 1-1 home draw against Kwara United on Saturday.
Kwara United went in front through Adesina Gata in the 49th minute.
Musa teed up Mohammed Zulkifilu for the equalising goal on 57 minutes.
The forward has now registered three goals and two assists in four appearances for Sai Masu Gida.
Remo Stars returned to the summit following a slim 1-0 victory over Bendel Insurance in Ikenne.

Elsewhere, Nasarawa United technical director Kabiru Dogo has expressed disappointment with the outcome of the club’s matchday eight fixture against Sunshine Stars.
The Solid Miners suffered a 1-0 loss to Sunshine Stars at the Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu-Ode on Sunday.
Opeoluwa Olufemi grabbed the only goal in the game.
Dogo congratulated Sunshine Stars for the victory.
“It’s not a good result for us, however, I am proud of the team’s effort,” Dogo stated in a post-match interview. I congratulate Sunshine Stars on the win, even though very tight.
“We will regroup and focus on our next game at home against Kano Pillars next Sunday where I believe we will bounce back stronger. Our focus remains on achieving our Season’s goals.”
