Abia Warriors pick a maximum number of points on the road by defeating Dakkada FC by 4-2 to keep the pressure on Rivers United and Lobi Stars on top of the group B log.
The six goals thriller encounter was played at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Saturday, matchday six of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, saw Abia Warrior raced to a 1-0 lead at halftime courtesy of Emmanuel Onu's 27th-minute effort.
The game was turned on its head when John Peters made it 2-0 in the 48th minute as the host threw every weapon in their arsenal at Abia Warriors which yielded a reduction of the deficit in the 65th minute as Emmanuel Ayoasi scored for the host.
Felix Anakwe quickly restored the two leaders for the Warriors to make 1-3 for Abia Warrior in the 79th minute.
Dakkada never relented as they continue their push for salvaging the match and Aniekan Ekpe gave them a lifeline in the 84th minute making it 2-3.

The 4-2 victory ensured that Abia Warriors picked their fourth win of the campaign, they're second on the road racking up 12 points, the same as Lobi Stars and just a point behind Rivers United on top of the log.
Abia Warriors will host Wikki Tourists next while Rivers United and Lobi Stars will play their respective matchday 6 opponents on Sunday as the three teams are looking for a top 3 finish at the end of the season.
