Kwara United welcomes high flying Rivers United in Ilorin with three points up for grabs. Kwara United is buoyed by fact that Harmony Boys are unbeaten at home in their last 15 matches and Rivers United will need to come up with an exceptional performance to end their host's fairy-tale run this evening.
Kwara was no match to Enugu Ranger's firepower on matchday 25 losing by 3-0 and that result has set the tone for what to expect against Rivers United. The Ilorin-based side has not lost twice in a roll and Rivers will be up against a side armed to the teeth to return to winning ways after dropping points against Rangers.
Besides, The Harmony Boys are gradually dropping out of the top four contentions and could drop to eight should they fail to get a favourable result against Rivers United.
Rivers' 12match unbeaten run came to a halt on matchday 25 following a shocking 1-0 loss to Sunshine Stars in Akure, but a win in Ilorin would see the coach Stanley Eguma-tutored side open a seven-point gap at the top.
Other fixtures pair Heartland against Abia Warriors while Kastina United welcome Akwa United. Lobi Stars continue the fight to avoid the drop when they host Nasarawa United in Makurdi. MFM face a herculean task at home against high flying Enugu Rangers.
The chase for the top four continues for Remo Stars as Wikki Tourists visit Dilo Dina stadium while the South West derby between Sunshine Stars and Shooting Stars comes up in Akure
