NPFL: Kano Pillars expects a tough duel against Bendel Insurance in Benin on Saturday
Former league champion Kano Pillars is expecting a tough encounter against Bendel Insurance this weekend.
The Sai Masu Gida will battle with Bendel Insurance in a Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday 11 encounter at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City on Saturday.
Pillars defeated Plateau United 2-1 at home last weekend.
Bendel Insurance on the other hand recorded a 2-1 away win against Sunshine Stars in Ijebu Ode.

“Let’s bring the energy and support our team in this thrilling encounter! Together, we are unstoppable.”
Kano Pillars suffered a 2-1 loss in the same fixture last season.
Sunday Anyanwu and Meyiwa Oritseweyinmi grabbed the goals for Bendel Insurance, while Ibrahim Mustapha netted the consolation for Kano Pillars.
Meanwhile, the home-based Super Eagles have rounded up the second phase of their camping exercise ahead of the 2025 African Nations Championship, CHAN.
The players spent three days at their training base in Abuja for the exercise.
All the 35 players in camp have been released to join their respective clubs for the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday 10 games.
The team will reconvene next week to continue their preparations for the clash with the Black Galaxies.
The home Eagles started preparation for the game last week.
The encounter against Ghana will be held in December.
