The Interim Management Company of Nigeria Premier Football League has confirmed the opening of the mid-season transfer window and won't be shut until March  11:59 pm on March 19th, www.234sportsng.com reports 


The committee reveals this in a statement made available to the press on Wednesday. 


The release also confirmed that the league will be proceeding on break signifying the end of the first stanza and won't return after the general elections to enable the players, others, and officials to exercise their franchise. 


The 2023 NPFL season will run only 18 matches in the regular season with teams paired into 10   teams each in group A and Group B. 


The top three finishers in each group will proceed into the second phase of six teams called Super Six and the winner after a round robin will be declared the winner of the league.
