NPFL: Finidi backs Rivers United to return to winning way soon
Rivers United technical adviser Finidi George is optimistic that his team will get back to winning ways again.
The Pride of Rivers are winless in their last three fixtures in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
Finidi stated that his team will work on the lapses identified during the poor run.
“We will get back, we will see where to make that adjustments and get the players back,” Finidi told the club’s media.
“Sometimes things like this happen. We have to get back on track because we are facing Remo Stars next in the league.”
Rivers United will square up against Remo Stars in their next game in Ikenne.
Elsewhere, Bayelsa United technical adviser, Ladan Bosso has said it is important for his team to maintain consistency in their performance.
The Prosperity Boys will take on Katsina United in a matchday 12 fixture on Sunday.
The encounter will take place at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa.
Bosso said that he would approach the game with a different style of play.
“We might have a different pattern or system in our game against Katsina United,” Bosso stated to the club’s media.
“We will make use of the same players in the next game.”
It will be recalled that Bosso was given a two-game ultimatum by the club management after their shaky start to the season.
They defeated Rivers United 1-0 in their last match in Port Harcourt.
