“I give glory to God and thank the boys for this present,” Ikhenoba stated in a post-match interview.
“We created a lot of chances, but our finishing is still a concern.”
Bendel Insurance moved up to 15th position on the league table with 28 points.
The Benin Arsenals will slug it out with Niger Tornadoes in their next league game on Sunday.
Enyimba technical adviser, Stanley Eguma believed that the red card issued to defender, Innocent Gabriel cost his team victory against Bendel Insurance.
Gabriel was sent off for his reckless challenge on Bendel Insurance Kayode Oke in the first half of the encounter.
Eguma, however, admitted that the contest was a good game for both teams.
“It was a good game, but being a man down made things difficult for us,” Eguma stated.
Enyimba dropped to 10th position on the league table following the defeat.
