Bendel Insurance romped to a 2-1 victory over Plateau United on Thursday to keep a hundred record of victories in the two week old league


Plateau United was on the verge of securing a point at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium when Mustapha Abdulahi equalized 91 minutes after Ismael Seriki get the home side ahead in the 53 minutes but Imade Osarenkhoe responded with the winner in the 93rd minute to record his second goal of the campaign.


Nasarawa United lost their second consecutive loss of the season after the team suffered a 2-1 loss courtesy, while the warriors bounced back after an opening-day loss to Remo Stars in Ikenne. 


Remo Stars took the number of away victories in the season to five after a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Gombe United courtesy of Andy Okpe's last-minute header. 


Newly promoted Doma United, lost their first match of the season as Niger Tornadoes pip them by 1-0 courtesy of Idris, 8 minutes strike. 

Sunshine Stars held Rivers United to a 1-1 draw.  

The defending Champions were held back in Akure with a late-minute equalizer to the delight of the home fans. 


Shooting Stars and Kwara United played a goalless draw at the Lekan Salami Stadium on Thursday. 

The barren draw ensures both sides are yet to win any of the games this season while Kwara United is yet to score any goals after 180 minutes of football. 


Action will continue in the abridged league on Sunday with the installment of matchday 3 across ten centers.
