As the Nigeria U20 Women's team, the Falconets file out for Sunday's quarter-final contest against their Dutch counterparts, at the ongoing FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup, they would have to be careful to avoid multiple suspensions.

As indicated on the FIFA website, four players in the Falconets squad are at risk of being suspended if they are booked in Sunday's tie at Estadio Alajuela Morera Soto (same venue where the Falconets recorded wins over Korea Republic and Canada)

While the Falconets coach has a full squad to choose from for the game against the Netherlands, his girls will need to be very disciplined in order to avoid being depleted for the potential semi-final clash against Spain.

Key players like Blessing Demehin, Jumoke Alani, Chioma Olise and Esther Onyenezide all have to avoid being booked to be available if Nigeria makes it to the semi-final as they are just one card away from suspension.

That said, midfield powerhouse Onyenezide, with three goals in the tournament, is expected to again be the driving force of the Nigeria game going forward, with pacy Flourish Sabastine and Blessing Okpe likely to start as the Falconets seek early goals, while workhorse Mercy Idoko and the duo of Deborah Abiodun and Bashirat Amoo would hold things tight in the middle.

Goalkeeper Omini Oyono is expected to be at her best as she is protected by captain Oluwatosin Demehin, Jumoke Alani, Omowumi Oshobukola and Rofiat Imuran.
