Napoli wants Adeyemi to replace Kvaratskhelia as Juventus keep an eye on Tomori

The Italian giants Napoli have shown strong interest in Dortmund's Karim Adeyemi, initially making a verbal offer of approximately 40 million euros. As reported by L'Équipe, Napoli now prioritizes the signing of a winger once Khvicha Kvaratskhelia left for Paris Saint Germain for around 70 million euros earlier this month.

Adeyemi's popularity in the transfer market is not new to BVB fans, as the German international has been linked to several clubs in the past few months. He attracts interest from many buyers, primarily from Italy and England, with Chelsea and Juventus already reportedly inclined to sign him.

Despite Dortmund's delicate situation on and off the pitch, Adeyemi's departure from Signal Iduna Park will not be a piece of cake for any potential interest parties. Considering Donyell Malen's recent exit to Aston Villa, BVB suffers with fewer bodies in the winger department, with Jamie Gittens, Karim Adeyemi, and the youngsters Julien Duranville and Cole Campbell as the only options.

The Black-and-Yellows have also demonstrated concrete interest in finding an alternative piece to Malen's departure, from which Marcus Rashford became the hottest name to be linked to BVB. Although a Karim sale seems unlikely at the moment, an agreement in the summer is not off the table for the German winger, especially if Dortmund fails to qualify for European competitions next season.

Napoli are also considering Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho.

Their primary target to replace him was Garnacho, but they find the €80m asking price put forward by Manchester United to be vastly overblown, feeling a more realistic valuation is €50m.

The Telegraph newspaper claim that Manchester United have no intention of lowering their demands, especially now that Chelsea are also interested in the 20-year-old.

Elsewhere, Juventus are turning their focus back towards Milan defender Fikayo Tomori and are prepared to pay €25m, according to Sportitalia.

The Bianconeri need at least another new center-back after Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal were ruled out for the rest of the campaign by torn anterior cruciate ligaments.

According to Sportitalia, the primary target for Juventus now is Tomori, who had already been in talks for a potential move several weeks ago.

It was believed that things had changed after Sergio Conceicao took over from Paulo Fonseca, but the pursuit of Kyle Walker from Manchester City might put all that back in doubt.

The report suggests Juventus are prepared to improve the proposal to Milan, making it a loan with an obligation to buy for a total €25m.

That could convince them to give up on the English center-back, who turned 27 last month.

Tomori was purchased from Chelsea for €35.3m in 2021.
