Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal, who is in the process of recovering from the injury he suffered during the Australian Open, still does not know when he will be able to return and on Thursday, he said that he will return when he is well and that a little patience is required.

"I'm recovering. In Australia, I had a pretty major breakdown, unfortunately, and it's taking time," Nadal told Television Espanola.

"I'm doing all the work I can every day to try to recover in the best possible way and then we'll see; day by day.

Nadal was present at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu to watch his beloved Real Madrid in action against Barcelona on Thursday.

When pressed on a possible date for his return to the court, Rafa Nadal was clear:

"If I do not know ... how can I say? I don't know. I'll be back when I'm well. You have to have a little patience," he continued.

At the Australian Open in mid-January, Nadal injured the psoas iliacus in his left leg, and his recovery period was said to be between six and eight weeks. He recently announced that he will miss the Indian Wells and Miami ATP 1000 tournaments.
