Milan forward Okafor is out with a calf injury and Iheanacho is almost certain to leave Sevilla
AC Milan received more bad news from the treatment room, as Noah Okafor sustained a muscular injury and will be out until 2025.
It has been a campaign ravaged by injuries for the Rossoneri, who are struggling to gain any kind of consistency.
The wide forward came on as a substitute in the 0-0 draw with Genoa at San Siro on Sunday.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Okafor has now been diagnosed with a Grade I lesion to the soleus muscle in his right leg.
This is effectively a calf strain and his condition will be re-evaluated in 10 days, meaning the Switzerland international will not be fit to play again in 2024.
Milan are set to play Hellas Verona at the Stadio Bentegodi on Friday in Serie A but are already missing Yunus Musah, Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Luka Jovic, Ismael Bennacer and Alessandro Florenzi.
Okafor has made 16 competitive appearances for the Rossoneri this season, contributing one goal and two assists.

Elsewhere, Sevilla have massively struggled in the striker department this season, with Isaac Romero and Kelechi Iheanacho having been very short of goals. Despite having only scored once in 14 appearances in La Liga, the former remains the undisputed starter for head coach Francisco Javier Garcia Pimienta.
As such, Iheanacho is almost certain to leave Sevilla during next month’s winter transfer window, as per Marca. The club’s sporting department, led by sporting director Victor Orta, has plans to sign a new striker because of the lack of goals so far this season, and as such, the Nigerian is the one that would be discarded.
It has been a very disappointing six months at Sevilla for Iheanacho since he signed from Leicester City. The fact that he has started to get into the line-up despite Romero’s poor form suggests that he has no place in Garcia Pimienta’s plans, and as such, it would probably be best for him to depart.
