Mbappe’s mother insists a third of his income must go to charity and that “If we could have accepted €10 billion from PSG, we would have”

France captain Kylian Mbappe’s mother Fayza Lamari, has said almost a third of her son's earnings will go to charity work.

Inspired by KM is an association that aims to help 98 children fulfill their life projects. It is a project led by Kylian Mbappe that revolves around four fundamental values: learning, understanding, sharing, and transmitting.

IBKM, which will be presented on January 20, brings together 49 boys and 49 girls, aged 9 to 16, from all walks of life.

Lamari, Mbappe's mother, has revealed how she started 'Inspired by KM', an association to which a good portion of the PSG player's earnings will go. "I told him: 'I don't do anything under 30%! I'll retire and do what everyone else does: I'll go on vacation in the Maldives, but I won't work for you!'" Fayza said, according to a report from Le Parisien, in an excerpt made public from the program

'Envoye Special', which will be broadcast on France 2 next Thursday, January 18.

"At first, I told him it would be 50/50, but we talked it over and it was 30," she jokes.

It's all for a good cause. IBKM offers diverse and varied activities for the children: language courses, cultural and sports outings, master classes, and stays.... And all, of course, are supervised by professionals.

Another excerpt from the report with 'Envoye Special' that came out a few days ago shows a more relatable Mbappe, a young man who has achieved fame and sometimes would just like to be a normal guy.

Kylian admitted that it had been years since he had gone to the bakery to buy a

loaf of bread. "I would pay a hell of a lot now to be able to do these kinds of things that don't seem like anything to most people," the PSG player assured and continued, "I lost the spontaneity of being human."

The mother of the PSG star revealed her interest in the money offered by the French club, saying ‘There’s no shame, that’s how the system works’.

Next week, Kylian Mbappé will be the special guest on Envoyé Spécial, a show in which he will discuss his daily life and, barring any surprises, is not expected to provide any hints about his future.

The parent of the World Cup winner asserted in the show, as per a preview obtained by the newspaper Le Parisien, that they were uncompromising in negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain in 2022. She mentioned that they would have accepted an unprecedented amount in football to renew his contract, if necessary.

‘No guilt and no shame’ from Mbappé's mother on greedy admission

“There is no guilt and no shame. If we could have accepted [€]10 billion ($10.9b), we would have, because that’s how the system works,” Lamari stated proudly regarding the contract signed by Kylian Mbappé.
