Liverpool is keen on Isak and not Osimhen

Liverpool are in talks with the agents of Alexander Isak over a summer move to Anfield with the player keen on the move, according to reliable LFC insider account Red Memorabilia.
The Merseyside outfit has completed the signings of Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz already this summer, while Fabrizio Romano provided the 'here we go' agreement for Bournemouth's Milos Kerkez on Friday.
Liverpool could turn their attentions to a new striker next, with Darwin Nunez expected to leave Anfield.
Isak is the 'dream' target for Liverpool and Slot this summer, and even though it has been claimed it will be a 'very, very difficult' deal to do, according to Romano, the Reds don't appear to be giving up just yet.
According to Red Memorabilia, they are in dialogue with the agents of the Sweden international and will make their move for him if they believe that Newcastle are open to a deal for the 'best striker in the world'.
Importantly, the 25-year-old is said to be keen on the move to Anfield, with Liverpool ready to pivot to Eintracht Frankfurt's Hugo Ekitike should a transfer for Isak not work out.
It's hard not to be impressed by the fact that Liverpool have significantly strengthened their squad this summer with the additions of Frimpong, Wirtz and Kerkez, with July still ten days away.
The Reds have moved quickly and efficiently to boost three key areas of the starting XI, with the attack looking to be the main next focus.
If the Merseyside outfit were able to offload Nunez and replace him with Isak, it would have to be viewed as a huge upgrade.
The sticking point is the fee - it will likely mean Liverpool need to break the British transfer record for the second time in the same summer to land Isak. Let's see if FSG and Richard Hughes make the decision to do exactly that and send shockwaves across the Premier League again.
Earlier, the media reported that Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is set for a shock transfer move to Premier League champions Liverpool this summer.
Quoting Turkish pundit, Ugur Karakullukçu, who said Osimhen is positive about a move to Liverpool, and he is in a position to approve the Reds with a salary of 13 or 14 million Euros.
Karakullukçu stated this on his YouTube channel while sharing information about Galatasaray’s transfer agenda this summer.
Karakullukçu said as reported by habersarikirmizi: “It is not possible for Osimhen to play for Galatasaray for less than 20 million Euros.
“Osimhen is positive about Liverpool and is in a position to approve Liverpool with a salary in the 13-14 million Euro range,” he said.
This is coming less than a week after Karakullukçu criticised Chelsea legend Didier Drogba for allegedly ‘seducing’ Osimhen to join Liverpool’s Premier League rival Chelsea.
