Leverkusen will not block Boniface from moving to Saudi Arabia or the EPL

Bayer Leverkusen says it will not stop Super Eagles forward Victor Boniface from joining a club in Saudi Arabia or England.
Sky Germany reports that Bayer Leverkusen are open to letting Victor Boniface leave this month with clubs from Saudi Arabia and the Premier League showing interest.
After the failed attempt to bring Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez to Saudi Arabia, several clubs are said to be interested in Boniface as the second option if they cannot convince Nunez to move before deadline day.
Leverkusen are aware of the interest in Boniface from the Arabian peninsula and England. Die Werkself do not consider Boniface unsellable but will demand €50m from the buying club.
The Nigerian is currently on the way back from a thigh injury that he picked up during the November international break. Boniface was in great form before his injury however since then, he has lost his place to Patrik Schick who is looking back to his best.
The injuries to Amine Adli and Martin Terrier may make Leverkusen reluctant to sell Boniface unless they have several replacements lined up.
Saudi Arabia has grown to global prominence in the last three years due to their policy of splashing big money on players in mainstream Europe.
In Boniface’s case, they would have to spend big to land the Super Eagles star. Bayer Leverkusen would only listen to bids in the region of €50 million (₦80.3 billion), and that is a fee that the top Saudi Arabian clubs can afford.
They would also multiply his salary, and that is a big attraction for any player, especially one who did not come from a rich background.
Boniface currently earns €3 million annually, but that would increase exponentially if he decides to move to the Saudi Arabian league.
English Premier League clubs are also interested in Boniface, but they won’t be willing to match whatever the Saudi clubs would bring to the table.
If Boniface decides to move to Saudi Arabia, he will not get the publicity he gets in mainstream Europe. And that could even affect his place in the Super Eagles squad. However, if he decides to remain in Germany or move to another side in Europe, he will remain in the limelight.
Boniface will have a big decision to make in the coming weeks. Whether to chase the bag or fight to make a big name in Europe.
