Kwara United replaces Dogo with Suleiman

Kwara United have appointed Ashifat Suleiman as their new assistant coach, he will replace Kabiru Dogo.

Suleiman will work as an assistant to the newly appointed technical adviser, Tunde Sanni.

The club’s chairman, Kunbi Titiloye announced Suleiman’s appointment on Saturday.

Suleiman is expected to resume duty with immediate effect.

The Harmony Boys were forced to reshuffle their coaching crew following the departure of Kabiru Dogo from the club.

Dogo is set to be announced as the new head coach of Nasarawa United.

Kwara United will face Niger Tornadoes in their opening fixture of the 2024/25 season in Ilorin on Saturday,

Elsewhere, Adewale Adebayo is the latest acquisition of Nigeria Premier Football League side Ikorodu City, according to Daily Post.

Adebayo moved to Ikorodu City from Platinum Stars Sporting Club.

The defender signed a two-year contract with the newly promoted NPFL side.

Adebayo previously played for Beninoise side, Avrankou Omnisports FC.

Ikorodu City announced Adebayo’s signing on social media.

“Welcome to Ikorodu City Adewale,” the club wrote on their website.

“The right-back joined from Platinum Stars Sporting Club after last playing for Avrankou Omnisports FC of Benin Republic.

“He joins on a two-year contract.”
