Kwara United has announced former Wikki Tourists of Bauchi handler, Coach Kabir Sulaiman Dogo as the club’s new Technical Adviser, barely two hours after Coach Abdulazeez Mohammed resigned from the position, www.234sportsng.com reports.

The appointment which takes immediate effect is very necessary according to the club’s Chairman, Kumbi Titiloye, as leaving a vacuum at this crucial moment for the club won't be the best.

Coach Abdulazeez Mohammed, threw in the towel after he suffered the fourth defeat of the season losing  2- 0 to Nasarawa United FC at the New Jos Stadium on Saturday evening in the Matchday Seven NPFL encounter.

Kabiru Dogo started the season as Wikki Tourists coach but resigned after the management slammed a must win two matches ultimatum on him after Wikki Tourist failed to win any of their first five games, claiming he only got to know about the ultimatum in the press.

Kwara United are currently on five points after seven games and Dogo's  immediate mandate is to get the team out of the relegation danger and keep them in the NPFL at the end of the season with eleven matches to go
