Kogi Governor, Ododo gifts Ojo Olorunleke landed property for AFCON success 

Kogi State Governor,  Ahmed Usman Ododo on Monday hosted Super Eagles' goalkeeper, Ojo Olorunleke in Lokoja to make the state proud at the just concluded African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament held in Ivory Coast.

Olorunleke was one of the goalkeepers who represented Nigeria at the tournament where they settled for a Silver medal haven lost 2-1 in the final to the host nation, Ivory Coast.

Olorunleke who hails from Bunu in Kabba-Bunu LGA of Kogi State was received by Governor Ododo along with two other Kogites in the Super Eagles;  Achor Enebi is the Team Manager and  Adejoh Francis Musa who is the Chief Security Officer of the team. 

The Kogi Governor congratulated the trio for making history with the team and hoisted the flag of the state higher at the tournament. 

He pronounced the donation of a plot of land in the state capital just as he made undisclosed cash donations to the trio with an assurance to support them in their future activities. 

Governor Usman also used the occasion to announce the immediate renovation of Confluence Stadium as well as donations of coaster buses to both Kogi United and Confluence Queens for ease in movement of their league engagements. 

Olorunleke who spoke on behalf of the Super Eagles' silver-winning delegation appreciated His Excellency for the gesture and receiving them just as he commended the Governor for approving the renovation of Confluence Stadium.
