Determined to right the wrongs it made in the first stanza of the NFPL this season, the management of former champion Kano Pillars has placed 10 players on the transfer market and hope to recruit seven new players.

The technical crew of Kano Pillars football club has urged their teeming fans to forgive the poor display in the first stanza of the ongoing 2021/2022season in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

The chief coach of the Kano side, Ibrahim A. Musa in a post-match interview in Katsina said they were tendering their apology to the fans owing to the ugly situation that befell the club in the first round of the season.

Ibrahim had attributed the poor runs by the club to the mistakes made in the recruitment of the crop of players that prosecuted the first stage of the league.

Speaking after his side thrashed Gombe United 3-1 in their last game in the first half of the season, he assured the fans that the errors committed will be corrected in the mid-season break through the recruitment of good legs to bring back  Sai Masu Gida to winning ways.

According to him, Kano fans will see reborn Kano Pillars side, in the second round of the league.

He revealed that as part of efforts to reshuffle his side, 10 players have been placed on the transfer market list to make way for seven fresh legs that have been pencilled down to reinforce the team.
