JUST IN: Buhari bans basketball for two years
President Muhammadu Buhari has announced the withdrawal of the Nigerian basketball from international basketball competition.
The withdrawal according to the federal government was sequential to unending crisis plaguing the sport in Nigeria.
Two rival factons have been laying claim to the leadership of the Nigeria basketball federation since the parellel elections held January 31 in Edo and Abuja.
