Leicester City striker, Kelechi Iheanacho was not part of the Thursday evening training session as the Super Eagles intensified preparation for Sunday's second-round clash.
The evening training which was held at the Round Adjia VSTS Annexe saw the players divided into two groups while Iheanacho was told to walk around the pitch under the watchful eyes of coach Austin Eguavoen and his assistant.
Although the striker did not show any injury signs it remains to be seen if he will be readily available for Sunday's second-round clash.
Interim coach Austin Eguavoen made eight changes to their starting lineup, with Premier League trio Troost-Ekong, Wilfried Ndidi, and Kelechi Iheanacho the only players to keep their place.
The Super Eagles dominated possession from the start as expected, but clearcut chances were at a premium for much of the half.
Nigeria booked its place In the second round of the Africa Cup of Nations after a 2-0 win over Guinea-Bissau to maintain a perfect run in the competition.
Umar Sadiq’s second-half tap in to put Nigeria in front before captain William Troost-Ekong doubled the lead after a long VAR review.
The results meant the Super Eagles are the only team to secure maximum points from the group stage of this year's edition of AFCON.
