Abia Warriors Goal tender, Pius Ibrahim has completed his transfer to Plateau United ahead of the start of the new Nigeria Professional Football League season.

The goalkeeper was the preferred goal tender of the Umuahia-based side last season, where he produced scintillating stops during the season.

The Kaduna-born keeper started out with Kaduna United, had stints at Kano Pillars, defunct Dolphins of Port Harcourt, Wikki Tourist.

He would be jostling for the number one shirt at Plateau United, as the Jos boys also compete on the continent.

Also, Alex Aghahowa has moved from Plateau United to Shooting Stars of Ibadan alias 3SC in anticipation of the new season.

The centre-back has arrived in the city of Ibadan where he is expected to bring his wealth of experience to bear.



Alex was an integral member of the Plateau United team last season, helping them clinch a continental ticket.



He played at the Northern City of Maiduguri for El Kanemi Warriors and moved to the Markudi-based side, Lobi Stars. 3SC will be looking forward to a fruitful time with the towering centre-back.
