All is not well in the Manchester United camp as there are fears Cristiano Ronaldo is seemingly in danger of missing Sunday's Manchester derby with Manchester City.

The 37-year-old continues to form an integral part of the Red Devils' side despite his age but has only managed one goal in his last eight Premier League matches.

Ralf Rangnick did not mention any injury concerns for Ronaldo in his pre-game press conference, with the Portuguese previously expected to lead the line for the visitors at the Etihad.

However, the Manchester Evening News reports that Ronaldo did not arrive with the squad to the team hotel on Saturday evening, raising doubts over his availability for the derby.

The report adds that Raphael Varane and Luke Shaw were also nowhere to be seen, and there was no sight of Edinson Cavani despite previous optimism over the Uruguayan's fitness.

Ronaldo has struck 15 goals and set up three more in 30 appearances for Man United in all competitions this term but is being linked with an early exit from Old Trafford ahead of the summer transfer window.
