Champions League: Rangers leave for clash with Sagrada Esperenca in Luanda without Okafor
Rangers have departed the country for their CAF Champions League second preliminary round reverse leg clash against Sagrada Esperanca.
The Flying Antelopes left Akanu Ibiam International Airport aboard an Air Peace flight to Lagos before connecting on a direct flight to Angola on Wednesday.
The contingent, which consists of players and officials, is expected to arrive in Luanda on Thursday.
The encounter is billed to take place at the November 11 Stadium, Luanda, on Saturday.
The match will kick off at 3:30 pm local time.
Meanwhile, forward Onyekachi Okafor will miss the reverse leg clash according to Daily Post.
Okafor has been ruled out of the game due to illness.
The veteran forward didn’t make the trip with the rest of the team to Luanda on Wednesday.
