Champions League: Edo Queens qualifies for the semi-final without dropping a point

Nigeria's representative in the ongoing CAF Champions League WAFU B qualifier has qualified for the semi-final stage without dropping a point.

Edo Queens defeated Omnisport Etincelle 1-0 in their final Group B match on Saturday to progress to the semifinals with maximum points from three matches.

Joy Jerry’s goal was all the Nigerian champions needed to wrap up a clean sweep in the group as they marched confidently into the next phase.

The Nigerian champions had earlier qualified for the last four after thrashing defending champions, Hasaacas Ladies, 3-0 in the second game on six points and eight goals difference.
