CAF Champions League: Edo Queens drawn in Group B alongside defending champions Sundowns

The draw for the 2024 CAF Women's Champions League finals has been made in Morocco.

Edo Queens Football Club of Benin City have been pooled alongside defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, Tutankhamun of Egypt and CBE FC of Ethiopia in Group B.

The current Nigeria National Women's League winner will begin their campaign in the finals against CBE FC of Ethiopia before meeting Tutankhamun of Egypt. They will then close the group stage with a tantalizing encounter against two-time winners and defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns.

AS FAR of Morocco have a date to keep with the University of Western Cape of South Africa, Aigles de la Medina of Senegal and TP Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of Congo in Group A.

Five teams, Edo Queens of Nigeria, Aigles de la Medina of Senegal, University of Western Cape of South Africa, CBE FC of Ethiopia and Tutankhamun of Egypt are making their debut in the competition.

The 2024 CAF Women's Champions League finals is scheduled to be held between the 9th and 23rd of November in Morocco.
