Atalanta tells Ademola Lookman's suitors that they must pay €40m or no deal

Atalanta have set a firm price tag for Ademola Lookman as interest from abroad intensifies in the final hours of the January transfer window.

According to TuttoAtalanta, Fenerbahce are currently leading the race for the Nigerian international, while Atletico Madrid also remains vigilant in the background. Despite the high-profile interest, the stance from Bergamo is uncompromising: La Dea want €40m to sanction a departure.

The reports make it clear that Atalanta have no intention of lowering their demands. If the €40m valuation is not met by the Turkish giants or any other suitor, the player will remain at the Gewiss Stadium. Fenerbahce are currently the most active club in negotiations, but it must now decide whether to meet the significant asking price to secure the 28-year-old.

Sky Sport Italia reports that Fenerbahce and Atalanta directors are currently meeting to discuss Lookman’s possible move to the Turkish club.
