World record holder in 100m hurdles Champion, Team Nigeria Tobi Amusan finished second in the Women's 60mH indoor at the World Athletics Indoor Tour.

Pre-race favourite who was tipped to duel with Amusan, Bahamas Devynne Charlton was second in 7.75. American Tia Jones won in 7.72 and Amusan was second in 7.75.

Masai Russell of America was fourth in 7.84. Another American Christina Clemons were fifth in 7.94 and British Cindy Ssember was sixth in 8.00. 

Charlton is the world leader in the event and Amusan was tipped to duel for the top position before the race.

They met last over the distance in March 2018, when the Bahamian defeated Amusan for the second time in three meetings.  It was at the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham where Amusan ran 7.91sec to come third in the first semifinal. Charlton ran 7.89 to place second in the semifinal heat.

In the women's 300m indoor Favour Ofili placed second in 35.99, American Gabrielle Thomas won in 35.75, while another American Lynna Irby-Jackson was third in 36.05.  

In the women's Long Jump indoor Ese Brume jumped 6.58 to place third and Ruth Usoro was fourth in 6.47.

American Tara Davis-Woodhall won in 6.86 another American Quanesha Burks placed second in 6.64.
