Afcon 2025: Super Eagles stars to arrive in Uyo for Libya on Monday

The Super Eagles training camp in Uyo for a 2025 Afcon qualifier against Libya will open on Monday.

The Eagles will have at least two training sessions before the first match against the North Africans on Friday, October 11.

Kick-off time is 5 pm inside the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

The return leg will be four days later in Benina, Libya.

Nigeria leads the qualifying group with four points from two matches, while Libya are bottom.

The Super Eagles top the group which includes neighbor Benin Republic, Rwanda and Libya.

The Eagles won their first match against the Benin Republic in Uyo last month and drew with Rwanda away.

Football buffs posited that with the current form of the Super Eagles in the European League, they have what it takes to beat Libya home and away.
