He may have missed out on the 2021 African Cup of Nations in Cameroon as the competition gets to its crucial stage, but Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen is certainly with the Super Eagles in spirit.
The former Lille forward was full of praises for his teammates following their emphatic win over The Djurtus of Guinea Bissau on Wednesday night.
Super Eagles continue their impressive performance at the ongoing African Cup of Nations winning three out of three, scoring six goals, and conceding just one.
Goals from Sadiq Umar and captain William Ekong confined The Djurtus to their second defeat in the group as they bowed out of the competition.
But the Napoli star has singled out the trio of Moses Simon, Wilfred Ndidi, and Kelechi Iheanacho for special plaudits.
The Super Eagles striker took to his Twitter accounts and described the trio performance as brilliant.
"Brilliant Performance From The Whole Squad! Special Mentions @Simon27Moses, @Ndidi25, @67Kelechi".

Osimhen was widely tipped to become one of the shining lights of this year's AFCON but he withdrew from the competition on health grounds despite his speedy recovery from a cheekbone injury.
He is expected to rejoin the senior national team for the 2022 Qatar World Cup playoffs.
