AC Milan wants to offload three Nigerians, Chukwueze, Okafor and Tomori

Three Nigerians playing for the Italian giant AC Milan in the January transfer window.

With signings needed, AC Milan could have a ‘winter revolution’ according to a report, with out-of-favour first-teamers potentially on the chopping block.

It has been a forgettable season for Milan so far. Despite special occasions, the remaining 90% of the season has been very poor and far below the standard that the club have set for themselves.

As a result, the January mercato may be a busy one as we enter the final 11 days of the month. In terms of incomings, Kyle Walker is heavily expected to arrive, with the final details being arranged before an offer is sent.

Elsewhere Joao Felix is a name of interest, whilst in midfield, another signing would not be refused. After all, Sergio Conceicao is ‘furious’ with his squad, so he will be demanding reinforcements.

To fund the incomings, there will have to be departures. Emerson Royal and Strahinja Pavlovic have interest from Turkey, whilst Noah Okafor has English suitors.

Sportitalia revealed that two other players could see their time with the Rossoneri come to an end this month. Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Samuel Chukwueze have not received offers yet, but Conceicao ‘would not oppose’ their departures, with either seemingly having a future under the Portuguese.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly weighing up a move for AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori, but they are not alone in their pursuit, as Juventus have already made an offer for the England international.

Tomori’s season at AC Milan has been a mixed bag, with inconsistent playing time at Milan raising questions about his long-term future at the club.

Though he has completed the full 90 minutes in his last two appearances, a prolonged lack of starts earlier in the season has led to speculation about whether the defender will seek a new challenge.

Tottenham Hotspur, who are actively seeking reinforcements to bolster Ange Postecoglou’s defensive ranks, have emerged as admirers of the centre-back.

According to TBR Football, multiple Premier League clubs, including Tottenham, are deliberating over a potential bid for Fikayo Tomori, but the race for his signature is already heating up.

Juventus, who are determined to strengthen their defensive options after missing out on Barcelona’s Ronald Araujo earlier this window, have already made their intentions clear.

The Italian side has reportedly tabled a structured offer comprising an initial loan deal worth €5 million (£4.2 million), with a €20 million (£16.8 million) obligation to buy in the summer, supplemented by an additional €5 million (£4.2 million) in potential performance-related bonuses.
