Devoid of the drama that greeted the Super Eagles' arrival at the Kumasi airport last Thursday, players and officials of the Ghana National Team have arrived in Abuja for the crucial second leg World Cup playoff tie against the country's national football team.

The Ghana contingent touched down at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport around 2.30 pm and headed straight to their hotel for some rest before the official training later in the evening.

Black Stars will train at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, the venue of the match at 6.00 pm, the same time Tuesday's match will be taking place.

Those aboard the chartered aircraft from Kumasi included 25 players, technical crew members and officials of the Ghana Football Association (GFA)

The last time the Black Stars visited Nigeria in World Cup qualifications was in July 2001 where they suffered a 3-0 thrashing to the Super Eagles.

Ghana travelled with a full complement of the squad for the crunchy game with the exception of Edmund Addo who was ruled out before the first leg tie in Kumasi.
